Southern Business and Development Magazine, as part of its “Best of Economic Development in the American South” series, has recognized Aiken, SC and the Applied Research Center. Aiken was recognized as a “Best-Kept Secret for Great Quality of Life in the South,” as well as “Best Small Markets in the Southeast for the Automotive Industry.” The Applied Research center was recognized as a “Best-Kept Secret in the South for Innovation and Research.”
