Will has been working in the economic development field for more than two decades with over a decade in the Western South Carolina region that EDP serves. During his career, the economic development teams he has supported have announced the creation of over 4000 jobs and $2.7 billion in capital investment from companies big and small like, Bridgestone, Kimberly Clark, Generac, Rolls Royce, AmbioPharm and many others.
Having grown up in a small town, he understands the importance of being involved in your community. He is the Vice-Chair of the SRS Community Reuse Organization, on the Board of Directors of The Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce, the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce, the Aiken Technical College Foundation, and the USC Aiken School of Business Administration Business Advisory Council. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Aiken and a Past Chairmen of The Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC.) In 2017, the South Carolina Economic Developers Association recognized him as their Local Developer of the Year. In 2021 he was recognized by Consultant Connect as one of the Top 50 Economic Developers in North America.
Will holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Citadel. He is a South Carolina Certified Economic Developer and is recognized as an Economic Development Master Practitioner by a regional consortium of universities. Will is married to Ellen and they have two sons, one who is following in his father and grandfather’s footsteps by attending The Citadel and one who is in high school in Aiken County Public Schools. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoys running, golf, hunting and fishing.
Theresa Daugherty is a native of Aiken, SC growing up in the nearby Batesburg and Ridge Spring area. She is a 2014 graduate of Aiken Technical College with an Associate in Applied Science: Major in Accounting. Her previous career of nineteen-years was in the medical field as a physician assistant and leading coder/biller.
Theresa has a true connection with the outdoors. From a casual bike ride on her cruiser, to camping and fishing with her husband, and hiking with her dog. She enjoys participating in benefit walk/runs. Her outdoor enthusiasm also drives her love of nature photography.
Theresa is a member of Cedar Creek West Campus and enjoys participating in any area her talents can be utilized. Her and husband, Michael have one daughter, who is attending the University of Wyoming working toward a degree in Architectural Engineering.
Kelci is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration, where she majored in Economics with a concentration in Applied Economics. Kelci comes to EDP after 2 years as a Product Development Specialist at the South Carolina Department of Commerce, where she managed the LocateSC property database. Prior to Commerce, she interned with the Newberry County Economic Development Office, SC Power Team, and Central Electric Power Cooperative. Kelci is a member of the SC Economic Developers Association and the Southern Economic Development Council, as well as a graduate of the South Carolina Economic Development Institute.
Kelci enjoys cheering for Alabama and being outdoors, whether it’s being on the lake, hunting with her dad or friends, or shooting sporting clays.
